Business Solutions Thru Online – Offline Integration
ExxonMobil faced a critical visibility challenge across its tier-3 retail network, where traditional distributor management left the company disconnected from end-tier retailers. Pijar Project was commissioned to design a business transformation solution that could bridge this gap and bring data-driven visibility to the field.
Through a combination of online–offline integration and closed-loop digital infrastructure, our team built a retail application that empowered outlets to manage inventory, orders, merchandising, and consumer engagement directly through the platform. Supported by field teams in major cities — Jakarta, Surabaya, and Medan — more than 10,000 retailers were geo-tagged, profiled, and connected to ExxonMobil’s distribution network.
The system enabled real-time tracking of inventory, sell-through, and consumer behavior, with integrated dashboards to monitor performance, shelf share, and competitive data. Within the first three months, the platform captured over 1.3 million liters in sell-through volume and 200,000+ consumer data points, driving a 28% sales increase through bundled offers and loyalty mechanisms.
This initiative redefined ExxonMobil’s engagement strategy — transforming a disconnected retail structure into a connected, data-driven ecosystem that strengthened market share and empowered local distributors across Indonesia.
