Merchant Acquisition DANA Indonesia
DANA Indonesia set out to expand its merchant network rapidly across Indonesia’s major cities — a mission that required both scale and precision. Pijar Project was entrusted to design and execute a comprehensive merchant acquisition and field activation program that could connect DANA’s digital ecosystem with thousands of new local businesses.
Our approach began with building a dedicated field force team operating in six major cities. Through structured beat plans, area mapping, and performance tracking, we empowered the team to recruit, onboard, and analyze merchants efficiently. Each merchant’s journey — from first contact to active transaction — was supported by a clear performance dashboard, enabling real-time monitoring of progress and conversion.
This initiative successfully helped DANA penetrate deeper into the Indonesian market, onboarding more than 60,000 new merchants within a short period. The platform provided live data insights into sales movement, competitor performance, store potential, and KPI tracking — ensuring transparency, accountability, and sustainable growth.
The project not only increased DANA’s reach and engagement in key urban centers but also strengthened its position as one of Indonesia’s most trusted digital payment solutions — connecting technology, people, and opportunity across the nation.
